The name Guayakí (Gwy-uh-KEE) represents our connection to the rainforest and our commitment to its people. Guayakí is the name of a group of indigenous people living in the South American rainforest where the maté tree grows. Our yerba maté is grown and hand-picked in the shade of the rainforest canopy, then traditionally wood-aged to complement its natural and earthy flavor. For centuries, yerba maté has been shared daily among friends as a healthy and stimulating drink.
